Writing this blog post has been on my mind all summer! This summer has been full of adventure knitting in great Idaho outdoors.

I've managed to bring my project to some wild places in Idaho and in the midwest—down the Boise river on a paddle board, alongside a cross-cut saw while on a trail-work trip, in a mountain stream in Trinity, and to the swampy lakes of Minnesota and Wisconsin countryside. It's been a summer full of adventure knitting!

Ready to take a knitting or felting class?

I'm excited to share with you that knitting and felting classes are available this fall! This season I am teaching classes at I Yarn for Ewe yarn shop, in Boise from October - December.

I'm teaching the classics: Learn to Knit and Intro to Hat knitting.

I'll also teach Felted Soap Making.

Upon request, the Emotional Support Chicken is making a return for a 3-class series!

I'm very excited to teach Painting with Wool and Needle Felted Elf Workshop.

I will also teach more classes in the New Year.

For more information about each class and for registration, please see I Yarn For Ewe's class list. If you're interested in one-on-one private lessons, please reach out via email: knitboise@gmail.com

Teaching knitting is one of my greatest joys! If you’re new, I look forward to welcoming you in an intro class. For returning students, I can’t wait to see what you’ve been working on and where you’d like to go next.

Here is a video that captures more of my summer of knitting and Idaho's magical beauty.
